Miller & Company Celebrates 35 Years of Service to One of Atlantas Oldest Companies
Miller & Company, P.C., one of Atlantas most trusted certified public accounting and business development consulting firms, celebrates 35 years of service to one of its first clients, The Milner Group. A life, health and annuities company, The Milner Group is one of Atlantas oldest companies, having served the community since 1865. The company retained Miller & Company as its accounting firm in 1969.
ATLANTA, GA August 23, 2004 - The Milner Group was one of our very first accounts, said Jeff Miller, principal-Miller & Company. We were very thrilled back then to retain an established company that had been around for more than 100 years and we remain excited to be able to serve them and meet their accounting and consulting needs.
The Milner Group has grown from six employees in 1969 to over 40 employees today. The steady growth has provided opportunities and challenges during the last few decades, but the company has found a reliable partner in Miller & Company.
Our relationship with Jeff and his company goes back 35 years, said Seixas G. Chip Milner Jr., Chief Executive Officer-The Milner Group. We stay with Jeff and his firm because of the personal and professional support he gives us. He has also built a fine group of partners and a staff that takes care of our accounting needs.
Jeff Miller likens the relationship with The Milner Group to one of family. We have developed a very strong bond with the staff over the years, he says. It is very much a family business and they have been very gracious in making us feel like we are part of the family.
